      <description>LEXINGTON, Mass. &#x2013;  Lesley University won their record fifth-straight women's soccer title in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) championship finals at Minuteman High School in Lexington, Massachusetts, topping the second seeded New England College, 2-0. They bested their previous record of four straight titles from 2012-2015.</description>

      <description>MANSFIELD, Mass. &#x2013;  The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) has announced its 2022 Women&#x2019;s Soccer All-Conference teams and major award winners on Thursday. The awards were voted on by the conference coaches following the conclusion of the regular season. Lesley University led the way with five honorees, as well as two major awards. Mitchell College and New England College picked up the remaining major awards. Additionally, each institution saw a student-athlete honored on the Del Malloy Sportsmanship team.</description>
