CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Lesley University first year pitcher Charles Ambroult (Quincy, Mass.) as announced by the conference earlier today.
Ambroult was dominant in an 6-0 conference victory over VTSU-Lyndon on Sunday. The Lynx righthander tossed six scoreless innings, allowing just three hits while walking three and striking out seven batters – a career-high – in the NAC victory.
Overall on the year, is 1-2 in 22.0 innigs pitched while allowing 23 hits and striking out 17 which makes him one of five Lesley pitcher to record 15 or more strikeouts on the year so far.
Ambroult and the Lynx hit the road for a four-game roadtrip starting on Saturday, April 12 at UMaine-Farmington for a doubleheader at 1:00 p.m. The squad then takes on UMaine-Presque Isle the next day on Sunday, April 13 in a doubleheader at noon.
