HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lynx never trailed in the conference-opener for both sides as Semuhoza set the tone early with back-to-back threes on the first two LU possessions to give the visitors an early 6-0 lead.
- An old-fashion three-point play by Jaylen Brown pulled the Badgers to within a basket at 21-19 with 10:27 to play in the half but the Lynx responded with an 11-0 run capped by a triple by Ethan Arnold (Sanbornville, N.H.) to bump the lead to 32-19 with seven and change to play in the stanza.
- A jumper by Johnson with nine seconds to play in the first half accounted for the 39-32 Lesley halftime cushion.
- Lesley opened up its largest lead of the night at the 8:23 marker in the second following a three by Aaron Feaster (Sugar Land, Tex.) to move the needle to 69-50 and cruised from there to an 82-76 final
