THE LEAD – The Lesley University men's golf program posted a second place finish on Thursday afternoon at the 2025 EC Invite hosted by Emmanuel College at the South Shore Country Club in Hingham, Mass.

LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS

• Lesley junior Marc Bota Carbonell (Mallorca, Spain) continued his strong play finishing the afternoon with a 77 (+5) on the card to finish third overall in the four-team field.
• First year Vincent Spirito (Lynn, Mass.) was next in the clubhouse with an eighth place showing at 84 (+12) fresh off his NAC Rookie of the Week honors.
• Sophomores Hunter Treanor (Bulverde, Tex.) and Reuben Wasserman (Toronto, Ontario) finished the round at 88 and 89, respectively to account for the low-four LU scores.
• First year Adam Paradise (Portland, Maine) rounded out the group carding a 92.

WINNING PERFORMANCE

• The host Saints captured the team event with a 315 fueled by a medalist performance by Jack Ouellette who shot a 73 (+1), three strokes better than Dean's Case LaChance at 76 (+4).

• The Lynx return to the course for match play on Wednesday, October 8 for another go at the Michell College Invite at Shennecossett Golf Course in Groton, Conn.
