THE LEAD – The Lynx finished up their spring play at the RIC Spring Invitational. Despite only playing one other tournament since October, Marc Bota Carbonell tied his personal best round and finished second overall. The Lynx as a team finished 8th.

LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Carbonell finished first for the Lynx and tied second overall. He was +2 on day 1 and finished day two even. His second round score tied his personal best. He finished +2 (146), four strokes from first.

  • Vincent Spirito scored +10 (154), good for a tie in 14th and second on the Lynx.

  • Third for the Lynx was Jeremy Ouellette, who scored +18 (162) and finished tied 34th.

  • Adam Paradise scored +36 (180), placing him 44th

  • Right behind him was Peyton Long, who put up a +40 (184)

WINNING PERFORMANCE

  • Wesleyan University took home the team wins, posting a +21, 3 strokes better than Suffolk University, which placed second at +24. Rhode Island College finished third with +35 to round out the rest of the podium.
