- Curry came out firing in the second half, attempting three shots and three corners over the first 10 minutes of play before finding the back of the net in the 64th minute of action.
- Sophomore Aiden Watts netted his first goal of the year to give the hosts a 1-0 edge, finishing off a feed from first year Matthew Drons.
- The Lynx had two shots on frame during the final 15 minutes of play but were denied by CC keeper Ryan McGourty to maintain the one-goal margin.
- With just over a minute remaining, LU sophomore Wassim Chaib (East Boston, Mass.) had some space on the right wing before his shot attempted deflected over the end line resulting in the game's final corner, which did not yield a shot attempt in the 1-0 final.
