CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First Year Jonathan Le Maitre was named to the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Men's Track & Field Weekly Awards, as announced by the NAC Office on Tuesday, April 14. This marks his first career recognition and the team's first of the season.

Le Maire was named Rookie of the Week after running a 2:07.11 in the 800 Meter at the Regis Spring Classic this past Friday. The time placed him fourth in the meet and third all-time in Lesley Track & Field history. Le Maitre was the only first-year student to finish within the top 10 of the race. The race was also a new personal best by over five seconds.

Le Maitre also recorded a new personal best in the 400-meter at his previous meet with a 56.13. He also competes on the Lesley Cross Country team. He set his personal record in the 8k on October 18th with a 30:42.5 at the WNE Golden Bear Invitational. At the NAC Championship, he finished 22nd.

Junior Tyshawn Brownfield was also recognized on the Honor Roll. At the Regis Spring Classic, he ran the 400 Meter with a time of 53.8, placing third in the meet and third all-time in program history.

The Lynx's next meet is the Sean COllier Invitational at M.I.T. on Friday night and all day Saturday.
