CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First year Prince Calhoun (Woburn, Mass.) has been named the North Athletic Conference (NAC) Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the NAC Office in the Tuesday, September 23, 2025 conference report. This marks the second time this season the rookie has earned the honor.
Calhoun posted a collegiate PR at the Pop Crowell Invitational, finishing the 8K event in 28:28 for a 23rd place overall finish. The first year helped Lesley to a ninth-place team finish averaging mile splits of 5:45 in a field of 114 racers. Calhoun then raced at the 57th Annual Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park with a time of 29:57 to help the Lynx to a second-place team finish among collegiate programs. His time was good for seventh place among scoring team runners and 117th overall in a field of professional runners and pro club teams.
The Lynx are off to the races next on Friday, October 10 when they take on the Hopkinton XC Festival - New England College Open at 4:30 PM hosted by Franklin Pierce University at the Hopkinton, N.H. Fairgrounds.
