ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Lesley University junior Alyson Nisbet (Clovis, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement today in the conference Weekly Report.

Nisbet was the winning pitcher for the Lynx in a doubleheader split with Framingham State University last week to pick up her second win of the season. The junior has been fantastic in her last two outings, allowing just a pair of runs over her last 11 innings of work.

Alyson Nisbet, Lesley (Jr., P, Clovis, Calif.) - Nisbet was excellent in her only start of the week, holding Framingham State to just one run on eight hits in a six-inning complete game effort. The righty struck out three and was perfect in the field, handling all of her seven chances.
