Coach Carlson joined the Lesley softball staff in the fall of 2025, assuming the duties as the Lynx Pitching Coach.

Carlson is no stranger to the Softball circuit, having coached in some capacity since 2007, and is actively involved in the club and travel scene.

Her coaching journey began with the Boston Bandits travel program and later in her career, transitioned to the High School level at Old Rochester Regional HS.

Carlson also has international coaching experience, working with America's Team in the Dominican Republic where she oversaw all team operations including practices, training, travel and game logistics.

Since 2010, Carlson has served as the Head Coach and Owner of the Lady Sting Softball club program out of Middleboro, Mass. where she's led teams ages 8U to 18U to over 40 championships at the local, regional and national levels. 

Carlson is also the Owner of East Coast Pitching, Inc., a private pitching company that provides technical instruction on pitching mechanics, pitch selection and game strategy to players ranging from youth to collegiate levels. 

Coach Carlson graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a BS in Sports Entertainment and Event Management and holds an MBA from JWU specializing in Global Business and Organizational Leadership.
