CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Head Coach Paul Vasconcelos and the Lesley University women's soccer team announced its 2025 schedule Tuesday afternoon.
"We like our schedule," said Vasconcelos. "We are able to play against some nationally ranked teams that will help us get ready for our tougher conference schedule."
The 2025 slate features a solid mix of home and away matchups along with nine non-conference games to go along with eight North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contests. In non-conference action, Lesley will take on schools from a variety of conferences including Conference of New England (CNE), New England Men's and Women's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), University Athletic Association (UAA), Little East Conference (LEC), and Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletics Conference (MASCAC).
Vasconcelos and the Lynx kick off the 2025 campaign with two straight home matches on Friday, August 29 versus Wentworth Institute of Technology and Tuesday, September 2 against No. 12 MIT. Last season, the Engineers finished the year 22-2-1 before bowing out in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Later in the month of September, Lesley will have its longest road trip of the season with its next four matches all on the road. The squad kicks off its season long road trip on Wednesday, Sepetmebr 17 at Suffolk followed by its NAC opener at Husson on Saturday, September 20 and then the next day at UMPI on Sunday, September 21, and then finally at Brandeis on Wednesday, September 24. The squad then returns home for two quick home contests on Saturday, September 27 versus SUNY Delhi and on Sunday, September 28 against SUNY Cobleskill.
Lesley will start the month of October with another four-game roadtrip starting on Wednesday October 1 at Curry College, then on Saturday, October 4 the squad heads to VTSU Johnson, two days later the squad heads to Rhode Island College on Monday, October 6, and then conclude the the roadtrip with a non-conference matchup at Fitchburg State on Wednesday, October 8.
After a quick home match with UMaine-Farmington on Saturday, October 11, the Lynx head out for a quick road contest at Framingham State on Wednesday, October 13. Once the Lynx return, the team wraps up its home portion of the schedule with back-to-back NAC matches on Saturday, October 18 versus Thomas (Senior Day) and on Sunday, October 19 against Maine Maritime Academy. Lesley will conclude the 2025 schedule with two road matches at Vermont State Lyndon on Saturday, October 25 and Wednesday, October 29.
