THE LEAD – Junior forward Milana Rosazza (Denver, Colo.) scored the game-winner to propel Lesley University past Framingham State University, 1-0, Wednesday evening in non-conference women's soccer action at Maple Street Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game's lone goal came in the first half at the 23:29 mark when Rosazza found the back of the net, assisted by sophomore Leecy Cruz (San Antonio, Tex.).
- Framingham State struggled to find their offensive rhythm, managing only five shots throughout the match, none of which were on target.
- Lesley outshot Framingham State 8-5 and held a significant advantage in corner kicks, 8-2.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Lesley's goalkeeper, Lloy Bartolotti (Portland, Ore.), earned the win without facing a single shot on goal. She improves to 4-1 on the year with all four victories coming in shutout performances.
- Framingham State's goalkeeper, Savannah Goba, made one save while allowing one goal in 90 minutes of play.
- Framingham State committed six fouls compared to Lesley's four.
UP NEXT
- Lesley returns to the pitch on Saturday, Oct. 18 for a 1:00 PM NAC showdown vs. Thomas College. Prior to the contest, the program will pay homage to the 2026 senior class in a Senior Day ceremony.
- The Rams will look to bounce back as they travel to Westfield State on Saturday afternoon.
