Women’s Soccer Adds Nine First Year Recruits For 2026

Cambridge, MA – Fresh off a 2025 campaign that featured a conference championship, a return to the NCAA Tournament and seven All-NAC Team award winners, the Lesley University women's soccer program has formally released its latest incoming recruiting class ahead of the 2026 season, Head Coach Paul Vasconcelos officially announced on Monday morning. 
  
The LU Women's Soccer Class of 2030 features nine student-athletes. The group comprises of four defenders, two midfielders, and three forwards, with nine different states represented. 
  
"We are very excited to welcome these nine terrific student athletes to our Lesley women's soccer program," said Vasconcelos. "They will each bring a high level of club experience and a mentality that aligns with the goals of our program. We cannot wait to work with them and have them compete for us as Lynx." 
  
Ella Mannarino 
Defender - Winchester, VA 

  • Mannarino suited up for both Millbrook High and Virginia Revolution GA 

  • 4 Sport Varsity athlete with 15 Varsity letters  

  • Team Captain senior year for soccer.  

  • First Team All-District 

  •  First Team All-Region  

  •  All-State  

  • Holds 2 school records for Indoor Track 

 Vasconcelos on Mannarino: "Ella is a soccer athlete, pacy and very athletic; she  plays with a great work rate and trained in a really good system." 

Caitlin Shiels 

Midfielder – Wells, ME  

  • Suited up for Seacoast United, Maine ODP  & Wells High Varsity 

  • 2-time 2ndteam All-Conference 

  • 2-time 1stteam All-Conference 

  • Southern Maine All-Region Team Senior Year 

  • 2- time Team MVP 

  • Captains Award 

Vasconcelos on Shiels: "Caitlin plays with a great work rate, quick and athletic player, who could end up playing various positions for us. 

Lilly Hostetter 
Forward - Kelso, WA 

  • Suited up for Columbia Premier & 

  • 5-year varsity player 

  • Offensive State Cup MVP 

  • 3-time All League 

  • High School State Champion 21-22 

Vasconcelos on Hostetter:  "Lilly likes to attack, has a great shot and is good on the ball. We see her on the wings for us and we feel she is going to help us be a bit more dangerous going forward." 

Jasmine Santos 

Midfielder – Cadiz, Spain   

  • Suited up for CD Estopona 

  • 24–25 CD Estepona played for the senior women's team and finished fifth 

  • Won the Costa del Sol Cup in 24 

  • Captain of the team 

  • Represented Soto Grande International School in Barcelona in 22 and 23, both years runner-up 

Vasconcelos on Santos: "Jasmine has great vision, makes plays, and can control the middle of the field for us. We feel she is going to develop into a strong collegiate midfielder." 

Cameron Wedding 
Forward - Evergreen, CO

Sasha Sheehan
