THE BASICS

Men's Course – 8K
Women's Course – 6K

THE LEAD – On Saturday, September 13, a total of 13 Lesley University runners recorded a personal record (PR) during their individual performances at the 2025 Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College. The women's team posted an 8th place team finish while the men took home a 9th place showing.

LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Sophomore Rebecca Hall (Richmond, Vt.) blew away her previous 6K PR time finishing in 26:07 for 30th place, knocking 95 seconds off her previous best in a 6K race.
  • Seniors Madison Reed (Burlingame, Calif.) and Maddy Duskocy (Ellington, Conn.) posted PR's coming in at 28:48 and 28:49 for 68th and 69th place finishes.
  • Juniors Bethany Slivka (Berkley, Mass.) and Desire Lopez (Ventura, Calif.) rounded out the top-five LU scoring runners, also recording PR's while junior Chelsea McIntosh (Martinsburg, W. Va.) and second year Ella Behling (Danvers, Mass.) posted PR's in as well.
  • On the men's side, senior Zephaniaya Alvarado (Manhattan, N.Y.) PR'd in the 8K race with a 17th place finish and 28:07 showing.
  • First year's Prince Calhoun (Woburn, Mass.) and Jonathan Le Maitre (Easton, Pa.) clocked in at 28:38 and 31:39, both PR's for 24th and 69th place spots in the field.
  • Sophomores Liam McNeil (Hudson, N.H.) and Osmin Castaneda (East Boston, Mass.) and junior Bendjy Auguste (Medford, Mass.) rounded out the Lynx runners, all recording collegiate PR's.  

WINNING PERFORMANCES

  • Wellesley won comfortably on the women's side with five runners placing in the top 12 spots while Wentworth took home the men's race having five top-25 finishers.. 
  • Fitchburg State's Paulino Guevara Mateo earned the Men's individual champion honors with an 8K time of 25:39 while Emerson College's Yasmin Defne Dadik bested the women's field by over a minute (22:08) to win the 6K race.
