Athletic Training Room Rules

  • Athletic training room hours will be posted on a weekly basis. Treatments are available to all intercollegiate Student-Athletes only
    • Treatment priority may be determined and adjusted based on game and practice schedules.
  • The Athletic Training Room (ATR) is a medical facility. Please be respectful of the staff, students, other patients, and equipment.
  • Athletes do NOT treat themselves.
  • All backpacks, sports equipment and personal belongings must be left in the Team Room area.
  • NO PHOTOS or VIDEOS allowed in the ATR.
  • Appropriate attire (shirt and shorts) is always required in the athletic training rooms. 
  • Sneakers are required for rehab sessions. (no cleats or turf shoes)
    • Flip flops and crocs are not acceptable footwear for rehab and exercise therapy.
  • Athletes must shower before receiving treatments after workouts, practices, and competitions.
  • No food or beverages, other than water, are allowed in the ATR.
  • Please be respectful to all people in the ATR. No derogatory/abusive or disrespectful language allowed.
  • Please ask for permission before using or taking any AT supplies or equipment.
  • Please do not remove any equipment from the ATF unless given permission.
  • All whirlpool treatments are for injury and rehab. Whirlpool treatments are at the discretion of the Athletic Trainer.
  • Any student athlete experiencing cold symptoms must wear a mask the entire duration they are in the ATR. No Exceptions.
